Had a shot at downloaded 45/70 shooting the other week. One of our club members brought along his Pedersoli rolling block along with some loads to try.
A 143g round ball over 5g of Kranks medium black powder with the ball pushed down the case onto the powder, it made an acceptably accurate load for our 25m range and chronographed at an average 525 fps
