In Colorado two state legislators...in the State House and not in Washington...faced a recall election recently over their standing on , and support of, restrictive gun legislation. Bloomberg from New York....the guy who is the billionaire mayor who banned big gulp soft drinks in the confines of his own turf... gave the legislators campaign chests $350,000 for t heir defense. Other do gooders with deep pockets contributed a total of $3,000,000 to the defense of these state legislators. The NRA contributed to the recall about as much as Bloomberg to the defense leaving the recall side about $3,000,000 less well funded.

The legislators were recalled by the majority count in the vote.
