Airplane boneyard in Kingman, AZ

Post by Niner Delta » Fri Oct 25, 2013 6:54 pm

This video from Youtube is pretty good, music sucks so I turned it off, it shows what was parked
in Kingman, AZ after the war. Some of the idiots that left comments about it on Youtube seemed
to think the planes are still there....
At the end it shows how the planes ended up, as aluminum ingots, very sad. Anyway, what caught
my eye is at time 3:59 of the 6 minute video. It shows the original B-24 "The Dragon and His Tail",
which was the reproduction paint job on the Collings Foundation's B-24 that I took this photo of
in Mesa, AZ in 2002. The same B-24 was repainted to be "Witchcraft', the plane I went for a ride in... :D

Peace is that brief, quiet moment in history.......... when everybody stands around reloading.
