One of our members turned up at the range yesterday with one of the rifles made for the 100th anniversary of the 1898 Mauser. I believe they made 1898 of them. His mate had also bought one and also the K98k version. I didn't have my camera with me so no pics. They are very nice, but expensive. Anyone else have one of these?

Regards

Peter.

Hi Peter, I saw one of these rifles at the range last year and took some pics. These are one hundred year commemerative rifles and lovely pieces they are.

There is a commemerative K98 also. Your friend probably bought his from the same source as this one. I did a post on this rifle on the old milsurp site, here it is again.

The one I saw looked very much like that one, down to the figure in the wood. He got it from Charles Stuart Associates (gunrunners?) from your neck of the woods.
