Milsurp After Hours

I know.... I should have turned the clock forward last night. But that's not what I mean. Today is the eleventh anniversary of the site. Thanks particularly to those of you that are still around from the beginning. And thanks to all those who post now and again to keep it going.

I was exactly 11 months late, joined 4-9-04.
According to the 'Joined' date next to your avatar, Robert, even you were 6 days late joining the site,
so now I don't feel bad............

March 9, 2003 was when I got the the old board according to the header. I can't remember back that far....but probably...that was when I made the first payment on the original board and began to set up the way it looked. It may not have been advertised as open for business until a week later.

I can recognize at least three of the early members who I know are dead now. And a heck of a lot of the early members are just gone away and not likely to return.

Ezboard, or whatever it was called, self destructed about 2005 and most of the early posts were lost. It was in 2005 that my son wised me up to having a real website.

Adam brought the site to my attention October 03, I struggled with the forum at first as it was one of the first boards I had joined and just learned as I went along.

Wow 11 years how time flies. I joined April 29th 2004.

I have been hanging around this site for just over ten years now. I check in most days and even post something sometimes. I wonder who will be here in another ten years. I will be in my seventies then I can't believe I am getting so old so soon.

Your an old timer compaired to me

I stumbled on to the site by accident the day after Christmas 2012

I joined Wed Jun 22, 2005 9:59 pm but I'd been on the old site for a while, came to there from "Enfield Rifles of the World" after a post by someone from what is now here.
No other site has the same friendly feeling.
