Good eye Eoin. I watched a part of one recently that you needed to be blind to witness. The Germans were equipped with Enfields. One guy who was playing a US Army officer was standing down range next to targets at a firing range and yelling fire to the troops on the line....who were also using Enfields. Wonder if it was the same show?

Don't think that you'd have had a chance to see this one yet!
I've recorded it for nit-picking at leisure, and having a bit of a pick tonight I noticed one of the Turks using a Steyr straight pull M96, well that's possible but would have caused a bit of an ammo supply problem but not near as much as that that must have been suffered by the Australian who was armed with one as he lept from the boat onto the beach at Gallipoli, just in front of him was another chap with an even greater problem; he had to fight using a WW II Japanese Arisaka

Yes, I had to google him............
Seems he was similar to the American cartoonist Rube Goldberg, they both drew
elaborate gadgets to achieve a simple task.

But credit where it is due, another show "ANZAC Girls" which is based on the diaries and letters of Australian and New Zealand nurses who were in Egypt, on Lemnos and in France, has been excellent (to my eye at least).
Maybe these aren't originals, but more power to the producer if he had the quillons welded on again.

Hey, I fixed it Eoin............The hat gave it away...........the image has been reversed, probably so they are shooting the right way for the story.........................
What is this Turk carrying?
Bet they would have liked some of those in 1915!!

Bet that you can't fix the corrugations on the waterjacket!!
Bet the steam was rising without any water cans and tubes.
Or maybe it's sealed and is about to blowup as the steam pressure rises.
The second episode was much better and there is a nice Lewis gun in it.
