As in a bacon & egg banjo. This could be messy!
Smoked streaky bacon a fresh egg and 2 slices of fresh bread, mmmm mmm.

Interesting. Joe's is fried sunny side up, no cheese , and no sauce. Duncan's is on a bun instead of between two slices of bread.
In the US we have such things...usually in a biscuit or English Muffin. The English must use muffins too ..... right?
In the US sausage is more often used than bacon and some famous ones use Canadian Bacon. And most eggs are poached. Like the Egg Mac Muffin. Oh... with a slice of cheese.

Niner's photo is what I have for breakfast most mornings, the only difference is I usually use a
sausage patty instead of bacon. I even bought the rings to fry the eggs so they look just like his photo.

I'm a traditionalist, hence the sliced bread.

I'm with you on that.....Well... maybe if it were the last place left to eat I would eat there.... or if the next choice to it was featured by that guy that's on TV that goes around the world eating the most exotic kind of offal and otherwise road kill.....Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern. Forty or fifty years ago MacDonald's was the home of 15 cent hamburgers and the best fries anywhere. You could order a hamburger, fry and a drink and get change back from your dollar. They advertised that on TV even. Now the same, dried out from waiting under a warming light hamburger is a dollar or so by itself and the fries don't have the same delicious cholesterol level in the grease they fry them in in order to be health conscious and aren't the same.

Sometimes I have a sandwich like Joe's, only difference is toasted bread and real butter.....mmmmm.
And I agree about Macdonalds, barely a step above road kill. The best fast-food burger and
fries on West Coast is In-N-Out Burger chain, their food is really good. Burger, fries, and drinks
are all they sell.
So many people did this to the bumper stickers that they quit making them at one time.......
