CZ52 vs Tok 33 vs Makarov's vs 45ACP

I know this looks like kinda a weird heading. But I use a 45ACP as my 'carry' gun. I also have a CZ 52 which is fun as heck to shoot (try shooting one of these at dusk), I have a FEG, which is a good gun. I've got some extra cash right now and need to spend it on another handgun. So do I get another CZ52 for $99, or a Tok, or a Mak, or a Hi-point 9mm, or what?

I would get a nice Browning Hi-Power 9mm. One of the older ones of WW2 or early post-war vintage. They are nice pistols and they fitted my hand well. The Beretta 92 type pistols with double stack magazines were too fat in the butt for my hand as I have short fingers and had trouble reaching the trigger properly. You can't go wrong with a good Browning.

a tok or a mak would be a lot better than a hipoint anything.

Knowing how much I had to spend would go a long way into determining what I purchased.

I would choose a 9 millie Browning too, second choice would be the Makorov!

YOu can't go wrong with the Makarov. It's a great carry piece.(I live in texas and I do have a CHL.and I carry one)
I find the Mak. very accurate.
I have/or had most of the HP's and the HIgh power clones, I would get rid of the Hp and stay with the clones. I've got the 9mm FEG. and the argentina one, I sold the FN and keep the other two, they shoot better and are more accurate.
I wouldn't carry the CZ52 because if you had to fire that thing inside a car, you would take out your eardrums and/or the glass in your car. Believe it or not, the CZ52 is about the same size as a 1911-A1. But, I think if you had to shoot someone with the CZ52, you would give them a real attitude adjustment.

Have you checked out the Hi-Point .45? Cheap and a lot of fun to shoot. Can't recommend it for carry though. Pretty heavy.

At the risk of being obnoxious............
What is your current .45acp?
If it is a 1911 what more could you ask??Use the extra cash to have the trigger cleaned up;the slide /frame interface mated and good King-Tappan sights installed.
If you have cash left over buy some practice ammo or components.
Don't get caught up in the ambidextrous safety and other goo gaw trap.
Keep it simple,clean and load with full house 230gr ball ammo.
Been there,done that.
It works.
