Here's a good idea if your range is plagued by good shots who insist on shooting the centre out of the targets....... The Curse of the Ten-X-ers.

here is a view from the back shewing the Velcro attachments, this is what struck me as such a good idea.

It may be 'old hat' but I hadn't seen it before.

Good tip Eoin but none of the people I shoot with are good enough for it to be a problem.

It's probably a "milli-metric" target but as I only understand inches - - -

10 ring 1.765"

9 " 3.450"

8 " 6.935"

Most of the shooters at Inverell have benchrest sort of rifles and gigantic scopes.

This target is used out to 300 yards so I'm really happy when I manage to score 70 or so or a bit less for 10 shots, with a milsurp. There is no 100yd range and only two shooting positions at the 200 due to quarrying.

The one in front is an extra special 'Junkle" carbine.

Eoin,

How about some detail on that carbine, especially the rear sight, it's hard to make out in the pic.

This is a early photo out of a series I did as I slowly built the rifle out of junk bits.

:?: Aug, How long did it take you to put your Enfeild together? And how did you come about the parts?

The majority of the bits came from a heavy barrel range rifle that had become the plaything of children. Surprisingly the barrel cleaned up, not real good but good enough for hunting except for the muzzle end, which I hacked off
