Milsurp After Hours

I got a notice a couple weeks ago that my C&R license was near the renewal date of May 1. Last week I sent off my check to the BATF and a copy of the application to the Chief of Police as per usual. Wasn't expecting any quick action. But... it was in my mailbox today. Good to May 1, 2020.

The Government can be fast when they want to be, but I renewed my Federal Documentation for my boat back in the middle of October, they cashed the check 10/30/16, they processed the licenses the 2nd of March and I received it last week!
