I am a British Citizen Vern BUT the rules are that if you have lived outside the UK for more than 15 years you cannot vote. At the time of the election we will have lived outside the UK for 15 years and 6 days.................... I can vote in France though :roll: :roll:

Hell... lots of Americans who never left the US are registered to vote and don't. And in America... the choices are sometimes so awful it's like taking your choice between walking off a cliff or being hit by a bus. Take our last Presidential election.....

Yes, Take our last Presidential election - You had a choice between a socialist, Anti-Gun, scheming, lying kunt and a guy who is Pro American AND Pro Gun!!!
I didn't find that a difficult choice at all!!!!

Ok... it was a clear choice for you Sarge. So... from my perspective should I put you down as strongly in favor of walking off a cliff or would that be strongly in favor of being hit by a bus? :loco:

By the way, in the last election I voted for the Libertarian as a protest to both Democrats and Republicans. I couldn't stand Hillary nor Trump.

You are right Vern. I take back all of what I said that expressed a political opinion that might have been inciting an argument. But, everybody is entitled to his own opinion about politics and I respect whatever that opinion is. However, like Vern is saying... no point in getting into any arguments over politics.

Thanks niner, I think we all enjoy the fact that we don't argue and name call over politics,
religion, and .... well, most everything. I have been on other boards where things got out of hand
and it got pretty ugly.
We all have our opinions, as we should, but thankfully, this place stays friendly............. :D
