There is an organization in the states called PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. They think we shouldn't kill animals for food or hides or research or any reason.

But those of us that are not tree hugging liberal environmentalist vegetarians say it stands People Eating Tasty Animals. :D

Hey!! Stay on the track.

So nobody knows, well PITA stands for Projector Infantry Tank Attack.

This designation was dropped because Great Britain is not an aggressive nation and the Defensive title of Projector Infantry Anti Tank was adopted instead.

How's that for a bit of military trivia?

Eoin.
