1958 Swiss ZFK55

After procrastinating for almost a year and thereby missing out of a couple of nice ZFK's, and having a buddy with one telling me to get one I finally worked up the courage to drop some coin on one of these legendary snipers.

All I can say is WOW, why did I wait so long. Since buying this gem I have shot some pretty respectable scores to take a 1st place & a second place in the 1st 2 shoots I have entered with it. The rifle has a beautiful 2 stage trigger and the muzzle break make you think you are shooting a .22, not a 7.5.

The only issue I have now is making a excuse to shoot some of my other rifles at these shoots.

This is one of the targets from the last shoot, 104 out of a possible 110

Now that's a rare bird for sure. Matching scope and all. I wonder if the checkering on the pistol grip is standard with all Swiss snipers?

So pretty!

Yes, it is rare. Only 4150 were made. The checkered grip was standard for all the ZfK55s.

They are great fun to shoot. Yes, I'm outing myself as a fellow owner. The brake must help with the recoil but also keep in mind that the rifle weighs about 13 and a half pounds too ;)

Great pics!

I use too much ammo when I have mine at the range.

Same here Arch, and ammo ( GP11) to feed the beast is right @ $1/round and not easy to find, but I have a source and bought 2-480rd battle packs.
