Range report on the two M28/30's

Had not much time today, some quick shots anyway:

Ammo was the Lapua match with D47 185grn bullets, as this rifle does NOT have a D Chamber and wil NOT take a D round anyway. Rearsight set to 200m, distance to target 100m, as expected a litle high.

Have not corrected the windage completely, will do that next time. Perhabs I will load something other, with 168grn bullets.

This one was also at 100m, but rearsight set to 450m, ammo handloaded copy of finn D-Cartridge.

Fiddled with the sights somewhat and moved the POI from low left to dead center.

The BArrel is a little pitted, dimensions are exactly to later M39 specs, D Chamber reamed.

Nice shooting. Bring it with you and I'll show you what my 1938 Turk can do.
