Kirin Ichiban.
The commercial description of Kirin Ichiban beer describes it as finest barley malt, premium hops, smooth finish and no bitter aftertaste. It is also noted that Anheuser-Busch, a brewing company based in USA, began brewing Kirin Lager, Kirin Light and Kirin Ichiban at its Los Angeles brewery in 1997.
It is made from from "first press" 100% malt. They are proud of that fact for reasons that escape me. The beer has a rather subtle edge to the aftertaste that is really a bit odd. Not bad. Just odd. It's not one of those super alcohol beers. 5% alcohol.

The most popular Asian beer is Japanese Sapporo beer (4.9%). Most Chinese restaurants carry the one
I like with Chinese food, Tsingtao beer (4.7%). Guess they don't like high alcohol content in Asia.......
