Milsurp After Hours

Finally got broadband up and running (N.I. seems to run on the NETS principle) so I thought I'd celebrate by posting a few photos.

Firstly my three trainers

Top - 191?(I think 1912) Enfield No2 MkIV* with Aussie markings. Has since had the PH sight removed and the original volley arm restored.

Middle - WOP with the sling shortened to fit (unfortunately by bubba if the workmanship is any indication)

Bottom - No8 from the 1951(?52) New Zealand contract. Currently wearing a PH5C but when funds permit and my luck changes I will get a PH5D.

Hey,they loo0k real nice! Gun show pick-ups? Have you had the chance to shoot them yet? A lot of fun I'll bet. And cheap to shoot.

The top and bottom are both gunshop buys but the centre one was free so the average price is acceptable. Unfortunately I'm overseas for 12 months so can't shoot them but just let me add giving up booze or cigarettes has nothing on giving up shooting.

Hope ya get back safe. I would sure have been happy to baby sit those little fellas for ya!
