I have been sampling a few bottles of IPA recently. All seem to be OK, some more hoppy than others. The Goose IPA is brewed in the USA and imported into the UK.
I have a few more to sample.
Regards
Peter.

Nice collection. IPA seems to be a popular brew in what has been a quickly expanding small scale brewery epidemic in the US that has probably been quashed to some extent by the pandemic. I can only take so much IPA. The strong hops flavor in IPA seems to be an acquired taste....like licorice is in candy.

I like liquorice. I used to have Pontefract Cakes sometimes when I was young but usually have Liquorice Allsorts these days. I usually get a big tub of Allsorts for Christmas and my birthday.

Peter.

Wonder why there is a difference in spelling licorice?
Liquorice (British English) or licorice (American English)
I did a google of pronunciation. It seems the preferred American pronunciation sounds like two syllables. Like "lick" "rish". the British sound more like three syllables "lick" "or" "ish".
I think the southern US pronunciation is more like the British version.

I pronounce it the three syllable way.

I don't like IPA or any wheat beer, they make my taste buds cringe....
And I do like black licorice. Yes, it seems the Brits like to add an extra letter 'u' in many
of their words, and Canada-ites (and down-underers) do the same......
