VE Day......8th May

Anyone doing anything on the 8th?
It's Mother's Day in the US on the 8th. The restaurants will be full. Gifts will be given to mothers who are treasured. The cemeteries will be crowded with people placing flowers on graves of mother's passed on.
Meanwhile... Russia will probably be celebrating VE day by pounding that same steel mill in the Ukraine that for some reason remains with civilians waiting for the next bus schedule out of there. And the Biden administration will be explaining how we can give Ukraine the coordinates for Russian prime targets and still not be in a proxy war.
