Any chance it runs? You could probably use one in the winter when you really get a lot of snow. Is it for sale?

From a brief google it seems some were intended to float and some not. Probably John knows more about it. It kinda reminds me of some amusement rides at Disney World.

That photo I posted I took the other day at Disney World. Disney Springs is a collection of strictly commercial ventures not part of the "regular" parks but belonging to Disney. https://www.disneysprings.com/attractio ... axi-tours/

Not sure if owner is going to restore or sell the M29.
I remember a guy in my home town had an Amphicar when I was a kid.
Never saw it swim!

I grew up about half a mile from an ocean beach, us kids spent a lot of time there. This was a logging area
so there were always stray logs on the beach that got loose from big rafts of logs that were going to a mill.
So anyway this guy had a surplus WWII DUKW that he used to pull logs back down into the water and form his
own little rafts and tow them to a mill to sell them. We spent a lot of time watching him and sometimes he
would let us ride along in the DUKW. It wasn't that far from shore and we could all swim anyway. Would go home
excited and tell our parents all about the ride and the would just say, "Well, have fun but be careful."
I think about that and laugh as todays helicopter parents would absolutely freak out and file charges of
child endangerment. Those were different times. Found a couple photos.

There are Duck rides in various places in the US. There was a Duck ride in Mobile for a while. I did ride a duck at Branson as part of the Battalion Reunion in 2015. At the time there were probably more Ducks in Branson than buses. But now I think the Ducks in Branson are all gone after one of them sunk in a sudden gale killing some people.
