The Hartford. Flagship of Adm. Farragut

I was looking at some old photos. The command platform that Farragut probably stepped on more than once. Of course the historic painting of the Battle of Mobile Bay shows him lashed to the shrouds. The Hartford's anchor is in the courtyard of Ft. Gaines on Dauphin Island Ala.
