Air Fryer

I got one for Christmas as a gift. Don't know how long they have been around but certainly much newer than microwaves and probably a little newer than instant pots. It fries with circulating hot air in a basket in a drawer in the thing. Did some chicken hot wings tonight.
A serving ok for one or two persons:
Dry off any significant moisture on about a pound or so of wings then salt and pepper wings.
Arrange in fryer basket after spaying some no stick on the plastic grate to minimize sticking.... or use a paper filter, which I did.
Wings can touch and overlap some with no problem.
Cook 380 degrees for 12 minutes.
Turn the wings over in the basket and cook another 12 minutes at 380.
Then turn them a just a little according to any not crispy looking sides to face up and cook another 5 minutes at 400.
When done melt a couple tablespoons of butter in a microwave. Add three tablespoons of hot sauce, used Texas Pete, to butter.
Stir chicken around in hot sauce.
I think this is an outstanding way to make hot wings.
