The purification of military base names

Somebody on a facebook page was going on about the changes in military base names in order to purify the names of long standing Army instillation's by erasing all names of former Confederates. Wonder if they can erase the names in the minds of people that spent any time training or otherwise serving at these bases? Brain washing is pretty impossible to past memory of people still living unless something more drastic is attempted. It is costing by one report 62.5 million to erase all the names from wherever written at all of the places they want to rename. I hope they aren't thinking about reeducation camps like the North Vietnamese did to the South Vietnamese after the Vietnam war came to an end. I can see it now as old NCO's are indoctrinated on enforcing the new names as it is.

Fort Benning, Ga. – rename Fort Moore after Lt. Gen. Hal and Julia Moore.

Fort Bragg, N.C. – rename Fort Liberty after the value of liberty.

Fort Gordon, Ga. – rename Fort Eisenhower after General of the Army Dwight Eisenhower.

Fort A.P. Hill, Va. – rename Fort Walker after Dr. Mary Walker.

Fort Hood, Texas – rename Fort Cavazos after Gen. Richard Cavazos.

Fort Lee, Va. – rename Fort Gregg-Adams after Lt. Gen. Arthur Gregg and Lt. Col. Charity Adams.

Fort Pickett, Va. – rename Fort Barfoot after Tech. Sgt. Van T. Barfoot.

Fort Polk, La. – rename Fort Johnson after Sgt. William Henry Johnson.

Fort Rucker, Ala. – rename Fort Novosel after Chief Warrant Officer 4 Michael J. Novosel, Sr.

I thought Fort Liberty was being named after the cowboy, Liberty Valance, or the man that shot him?.....

It would be more woke if they named it after Liberace.
