Does the 3rd battalion of the Yorksire Regiment stay in Yorkshire like a National Guard Unit does in the US? Has the battalion you belong to been sent to the "terrorist" wars in the Afghanistan/Iraq etc., areas of the world?

King Charles III granted Royal status to the Regiment on 6th April 2023.
Currently the Yorkshire Regiment has 3 Battalions.
The first two are Regular Soldiers. ( there is no third )
The forth is now a Territorial Battalion which is part time but it still serves with the Regular Battalions so where they go it can also go.
There is also a Cadet Force.
