From Washington State:

April 26 (UPI) -- Washington state Gov. Jay Inslee signed a bill banning assault weapons, immediately prompting a lawsuit from a gun rights group.

The law, which was part of a package of measures targeting gun violence, includes an emergency clause banning the manufacturing, importing, distributing, selling or offering for sale of any assault-style weapon, including all forms of AK-47s, AR15s, M16s and M4s in the state, starting Tuesday.

There is also a ten day wait for purchase of other firearms, among whatever else the proclamation states. Obviously the law will be tested and there will be some court case proceedings.

Since the Democraps control both houses in the WA state legislature, they seem to do whatever they
want. And Inslee and state attorney Ferguson are real gun banners. They tacked on a provision that the
minute the governor signed the bill, it went into effect with no waiting period like most bills. It's tough
living in one of the most blue states in the country. We can only hope that it gets overturned in the courts.

This trio of bills also includes a 10 day waiting period to buy any gun and training before buying a gun,
not sure how this "training" is going to work and who will administer it??

The 3rd is called Access to Justice for Victims.....

"The law clarifies legal liabilities for gun dealers and manufacturers for knowingly creating, maintaining or
contributing to a public nuisance by designing, selling or marketing products that:

-Promote conversion of products into illegal products
-Market products to children
-Sell weapons to people prohibited from possessing and purchasing firearms
-Allow straw purchases
-Distribute or sell firearms to dealers known to be acting in a dangerous or irresponsible manner."
(I think all of that is already illegal.)

The point of this law is that now anyone can sue gun manufacturers or dealers when idiots use their guns to do stupid things.
In other words, to sue them and make them liable for everything and not do business in WA state.
The stupidity never ends here.....
