I get these IMA advertisements regularly. Today had a three line Nagant with a SA capture mark. Such a rifle back in the day would have been pretty cheap. But look what this one that IMA isn't blushing to offer for about ten times what it would have gone for ten years ago.

Wonder what my New England Westinghouse, SA Marked, three line is worth now? I'd think it would be more interesting than the IMA offering. I paid less than $100 for it twenty or so years ago.

IMA has a more expensive three line rifle. This one has a matching bolt to receiver. No telling what else may or may not match with the exception of the stock which is said to be a Finn replacement.
Item Description
Original Item: Only One Available. These are so very rare, and this is one of the earliest examples that we have seen in quite some time. A real pre-1898 Antique Russian Mosin-Nagant M1891 Full Length Rifle, more officially referred to as the "Three Line Infantry Rifle, Model of 1891." This particular one was later refit in Finland to the Finnish M/91 Mosin-Nagant standard, and fitted with a new stock. It has lots of issue markings, as well as serial number 39887, which is on barrel and bolt. Interestingly, there are no Finnish "SA" Markings, though it is clearly a Finnish stock. Perhaps during the rush of Wartime, they did not have time to add them.
Sestroretsk, Sestroriatsk or Systerbäck Arsenal operated until 1918 and had something like 2600 people working there. It was also noted for working on being sure all Nagant parts were interchangeable. But is it worth what IMA is asking for it?

IMA struck another note. I had two of these. Sold one for a few hundred. Still have one. I don't think I paid more than about $100 for either of them.
