There was one of those big music fests at Gulf Shores

There is this big music fest every year in May at Gulf Shores Alabama. Friday, Saturday, and ending today on Sunday. 30,000 young people, mostly, expensive tickets and acts nobody my age, or half my age, ever heard of before. I read about it in the news and picked up on some of the names of the "artists". One I looked at on youtube was a young woman with a great big red wig and lots of makeup and looked and sang like a kinda sorta modern day Cyndi Lauper. She's on youtube and also advertises electronic dildos strangely enough. Chappel Roan is her name.
Tonight I checked out another one at random, Megan Moroney, on youtube. She does sing with the standard country twang. Her maybe best song is about a girl who is from Georgia and is loyal to the Georgia Bulldogs but falls for a blue eyed Tennessee Volunteer. I'm talking about college football to the unaware. Not awful as a country song. But.... will she make the big time? Who knows? Not my generation anyway.
