Wonder how many were sold at the asking prices? Asking and getting are often two different things. However, the argument is that "they aren't making them anymore and haven't made any in 90 or a hundred years or more". It's now to jump on, or not, to the greater fool escalator in the speculation market. It's anyone's guess how many people are sitting on hordes of the milsurps brought in during the great surplus arms dumps in the later 90's.

Yes, the way I figure it, a $129.99 Swede I sold in 1995 would be $270.00 at least just by inflation. Throw in rarity
and any other factors and double the money is not so far off.

Lee Enfield rifles that the Government used to sell to the rifle clubs for a couple of Pounds are now bringing $500 or more and the experimental No6 Jungle Carbine that I picked up for 5 Pounds and shortly sold for 8 Pounds would now be in the thousands of dollars [but I was smart

Milsurps in general are expensive.

The last gun show that was local, several years ago, was just overpriced ammo and black guns, mostly pistols. ..
