I have this old newspaper. The parents saved it. I wasn't born until the following month. It's got a big photo of the General who knew how to play the hero best and take the lions share of the masterminding it credit. He would go on to get Japan back to making what it does best...making cars and cameras and electronic stuff.

I recall the joy and particularly the dancing in the streets, l was 11 years old.
