Gun show today

Went to a local gun show. Was wearing my 101st hat. Guy taking $10 entrance fee said if I was retired Military I could get in free. I said l wasn't retired military, unless you count drafted for two years and let go. I told him I belong to the 101st Association and pulled out the card. No good. I could show him my drivers license that says I'm a veteran. No good. I had to show some kind of retirement from the military card. I said well just take my ten bucks. I wasn't looking for anything for free anyhow.

As to the show. A few more milsurps around. Surprised to see a few Turk Mausers. There were a few Mosins and M1 carbines and Garands. Prices still on the up side. Saw a P38 a guy wanted $1500 for that seems a bit much. Saw a NEW Mosin, have no idea if it was SA marked like mine, and it had $1200 wishing price. Even saw an old Marlin 12 ga bolt action like I've had since I was a kid.
