Triggerguard Trivia

This is, in fact, almost insanely trivial---really---so I think it will fit right in here.
We are familiar with the "No5 Type" triggerguard found on the Mk2 rifles. I have this type on No4 Mk2s dated from 1949-1955.
This is it, the regular Mk2 type with narrowed triggerguard bow and missing the hole for the trigger pin:

The regular "wasp-waisted" king screw doo-dad:

Now here's one from an "FTR 56" Mk 1/2, one of the "A" prefixes done at Fazakerley. The narrowed triggerguard bow and as you will note, also lacking the hole for a trigger pin, so it isn't a conversion:

But what's this? A completely matronly figure here, no waist at all:

There. Isn't that trivial? I have two of the "FTR 56" rifles and they both have this unwaisted triggerguard.
BFD.
