Well, I spent New Year's eve shooting machine guns with a couple fellow Collectors

Went out to a friend's range, met up with a few NFA owners and Class 2 mfg's, and we put a few thousand rounds downrange with some good friends.

Machine guns-

Nice way to spend new years eve Phil :D I spent the day repairing a crash damaged Peugeuot car with my friend.

Did Jeremy experience a few stoppages with the MG34?

Excellent videos BTW

The belts had been heavily used and had a few bad places. When they were encountered there were a few stoppages.

Luckily, there will be new belts for the next shoot.

I'll be shooting in a military rifle match this year.

200 yd John C. Garand format, but with any vintage military rifle being legal.

As a matter of fact, the guy in the pic above on the MG-34 won the match last quarter shooting a SPringfield M-2 .22 trainer at 200 yds!

I've got a snowball's chance in hell of winning, but I'll get to burn some rounds :D

I still see an Enfield there on the ground...for the slow moments ?

Every time my dealer goes out...He makes me work ! (Load the mags, check for eye/ear protection, make sure the barrel is up and downrange, etc) But I do get the benefit of his FFL.
