Just back from a week in London with the wife and kids. But did manage to saunter off for some sightseeing by myself.
Spent one afternoon on the HMS Belfast - fascinating!! Was only going for an hour or so. Or so equalled the entire afternoon and even then I only left because they were closing.

I'm actually thinking of going back to London purely to have another crack at the IWM but first there is a trip to Leeds to organise.
To anyone with even the vaguest interest in ships I would say go have a look. My interest isn't in things naval but I was fascinated by this ship, the amount of history this thing has been through (made ?) is just awe inspiring.
Unfortunately I had the smaller memory card in the camera and so only have about 100 photos.

Joe,
I think they work better if they're stuffed (cats, not hammocks).
Not a bad little item is it ? I wonder if the ships cat really used it ? And did he have to sling and unsling (if those are the correct terms) it himself ? And what was his action station ?

If you make it to Leeds you must visit henry kranks gunshop in pudsey its on the outskirts of Leeds.
They have a web site check them out just search for henry kranks.
There is also lots of shopping and a big indoor market.
You can have a look round Tetleys brewery as well and of course the Royal armouries is a must.
