It's got to be difficult to get any kind of accuracy from a rig like that.

Maybe if you put a tang sight on it?

the bulged cases, hard extraction and the pokey recoil are a minus too. :lol:

Thanks Joe, I have been wondering exactly how the extraction worked on them.

My thinking was way more complicated than the real thing.

If you add up the actual number of parts, you're surprised at how few there are - and how well-designed the action actually is.

Simplicity and strength made it a long-lasting design, which actually still is used in some free pistols...

Of course, the ultimate rendition was the Francotte takedown patent, as used on the Cadets and BSA target rifles.

And (today I shudder at the thought) one of the few B/L actions that, at least down here, was converted to muzzle-loading.
