Joe,
Normally I would be terribly jealous and having a wee depressive moment. However through the incredible (to me anyway) generosity of one of the board members I will have a chance to shoot something very soon.
A heartfelt thank you to that person.
PS
Nice guns Joe, all yours ?

Is that middle one of the 'at homes' a Lithgow with Queensland Maple wood?
Keep us posted on the FUN day, I'm sure you'll uphold the honour of the "Downunderers" and shoot the 'X's out of the targets

Joe,
So there will be more than one forum member there ? Ripper. Really looking forward to meeting you blokes. Of course I would be very remiss as a guest if I did not shoot something offered, so I'll just have to grin and bear it.
Aughnanure,
Yes that's exactly what it is. 1919, A43??? (can't recall the last three digits). Looking for a 1919 Lithgow bayonet with QM grips to go with it. Would settle for a set of QM grips as I have a 1919 Lithgow bayonet with butchered walnut grips.
Don't know about shooting the X's out of the target. Don't usually manage that at home so I don't know what I'll do over here. The fact I'll be a shaking, drooling mess as I haven't touched a firearm in 11 months probably won't help.
Will try and uphold the honor of Downunder.

Robert, my camera is always at the ready and i usually remember to take along batteries too
Woftam, as dh taxi says "the foods not bad either", i hope you are partial to bacon, eggs and sausages very well cooked. There will be lashings of tea and coffee and usually some choccie biscuits too.
