Your information indicates that this was made at Enfield Lock, England in 1917. It is a Lee-Enfield No 1 Mark III* (number one mark three star). Commonly and incorrectly called an Enfield. The C broad arrow is a Canadian Military ownership mark, not a provincial mark. This mark is no longer used but was common in the times that this rifle was on issue in Canada. What is somewhat uncommon on your rifle is the butt disk, on the right rear of the butt stock. One aspect of the No1 MkIII* is that the butt disk was not used as a wartime economy measure. Of those that survived, most were thrown away as soon as Bubba got his paws on the rifle. It appears that yours has been more successful than most in evading this fate.
