Looks like really good stuff. I'm wanting to get into BP (beyond my two repro pistols) and these look good to me. Look the site over completely. They show a lot and even how some of the repro parts are actually interchangeable with originals.

India would raise a red flag with me. I'd wonder about how safe they are to shoot from the cottage industry reputation of their gun merchants.

THIS LOOKS LIKE A GOOD SITE.

I might be tempted by the Sea Service Pistol kit

It all depends on where you are, Duncan

Seems to me to be really high priced for a kit pistol. Looks like the conversion would be about $540 US. None of my kit guns cost nearly that much. Check out Dixie Gun Works or Track of the Wolf to get some idea of American prices.

Coudn't you just buy some on your next trip to Italy, and from the major sources, for real cheap?

These look a lot better than Italian kits and I suspect they are better finished. I have a Dixie Catalogue from a couple of years back but I still like that Sea Service Pistol. I have actually shot an original Sea Service Pistol - in the dining room of a small hotel I used to stay at in Northampton. Owners wife not 100% happy with the idea!!
