The Doctor and the Harley Mechanic

One day, a heart surgeon had to take his Harley in to be worked on. The mechanic working on it thought he was worth more than every penny they paid him. After working on something internal, he was putting the motor back together. As the doc had waited around to watch, the mechanic called him over.
"Hey, doc, you know, I basically do the same thing you do. I go inside, repair the internals, fix valves, make sure everything ticks along just right...just like you when you do heart surgery. Yet you make the big bucks.....why is that?"
Smiling, the doc leaned over and said, "Try doing it while it's running."
