Hi all,
Phoned the NRA today for Trafalgar entry forms, for me and Mrs Goblinslayer. Just wondering if anyone else is going?
Regards
Chris.

I cannot make it unfortunately - the whole weekend I have a big wine fair
It's out of reach this year.

I have made a McQuees air rifle course in the garden on a smaller scale. I just can't get the weather to play along. The wife still won't cook beans and eggs.
Cheers

well, I paid a visit to the trafalgar, tho I admit I was there for the gunshow. I was seduced by a very nice BSA Lee Speed, and as I was going to get ammo ran into Adam, who was about to go clean his Springfield. as goes for the Lee Speed, I set my sights to 600 at 600, and proceeded to miss. Set for 300 though, I got a V Bull! I'm still trying to figure that one out. I look forward to the reports of those competing, and hope we'll see some more baubles on here

Well Laura (Mrs Goblinslayer) and I eventally got to Bisley after getting stuck in a 3 hour traffic jam on Friday night :-/
I decided to take the PH windage sights off our rifles before we went which was stupid as when I got there my sights were off by about 2 foot at 200 yards :-/
Of course I didn't take my toolkit so couldn't move it over....
Anyhow we shot the McQueen with iron sights :-) I hit it 8 times and came 10th! Chuffed :-)
Then we did the Agony snaps (Laura missed out on 3rd place by 1 point) and the Enfield minute (I WON!!!! - got my medal today!!!!!)
Nice weather, and a really nice day over all, had a poke about the fair, and bought all the 2520 and 2460 powder that the NRA had :-)
Sunday started grey and we did the 200yrd in the morning, then 500 and 600 in the afternoon in torrential rain :-(
Didn't do well because of the sight thing, I took it to Fultons and asked the boy to drift it over a blade width, but he drifted it too far the other way, so took it back and this time watched as he put my rifle in the vise and proceded to belt the forsight over with a punch!!!! You would have thought that he would have known that there is a perfectly good screw to losen to move the blade.... not impressed
Also had a poke about the RPA shop, I'm thinking of getting an Interceptor for christmas :-)
I think we'll have a go at the Revolver and gallery stuff next year, had a poke about and watched a bit, it looks like fun

and of course is indoors in the dry

Err what else did you expect at Fultons?
After a repair to my Swedish Mauser where they forced the Firing pin nut onto the new firing pin with a wrench

I will have nowt to do with them. Oh and they told me one thing and the ammo importers whose ammo caused the problem something else. Like I say not impressed so don't go back. It's a pity when a once famous and good name is wrecked by idiots
