Milsurp After Hours

Some time ago I won a Hungarian Mosin Nagant trainer on a German auction site called E-gun (Thanks Chris ).

It was my first win on an auction site.

The rifle doesn't look like a Mosin Nagant at all.

Only the shape of the bolt handle looks like the one from a Mosin Nagant.

The rifle was produced by the Lampagyar company in Budapest in the 1950's.

It's not a very rare Mosin Nagant, but you don't see these very often over here and I'm very happy with this one.

that is a nice looking rifle and I not seen one before.

That would be a nice addition to my .22 trainer collection Martin. What sort of money do they go for and how does it shoot?

I don't know how they shoot and I don't think I ever will.

This rifle is on my collector’s license and over here we're not allowed to shoot with them.

I know however that Chris(AWO425) has or at least had one and he told me these were very accurate.

Chris is also the one who found this one on E-gun for me.

I placed a bid and won.

I paid about € 75,00 for this one, but I've also seen one for € 125,00.

All in all they are not that expensive.

What a nice littel rifle!!!!!!!!!!

Looks by far better than mine.

On 100m I can do 50mm groups(10 or 20 shots from Bench), with the open sights, peep sight would be better.

But this is my trainer for open sightes rifles, like Mosins or Swedes

50mm or approximately 2inches at 100m is not bad going for a .22 trainer, and not too fancy priced either.

i could fancy one of those myself,
