ME262's Flying Again

A company called Legend Flyers in Everett, Washington has built 5 brand new German Me262 aircraft. These new Me262's are identical to the original German Me262's with the exception of beefier landing gear and a GE J85 engine replacing the unreliable Jumo.
The Messerschmitt factory reps inspected the 5 new Me262's and decided that they were worthy of consecutive serial numbers from the last wartime production!
The second Me262 completed was delivered to the Messerschmitt Foundation in Germany where it was subsequently flown at the Berlin Airshow in May of 2006, the first time that an Me262 had flown over Germany since 1945!
