Christmas and milsurps

Anybody got any milsurps on your Christmas list to Santa?
I'm thinking about one of those Nagant 91/30 Sniper Rifles.

Apart from the perennial favourites on the wish list (the No1 MkIII* HT, the No1 MkV, the No6 etc) I reckon a Martini in .303, .310 Cadet or a P14 if I can find any.
Failing that then, while not exactly milsurp, I'm still interested in a Lithgow .22 Hornet on the No1 action.
Actually what I would really like would be for Joe to have a fit of generousity and mail his Martini to me

Sounds tacky but I would really like to see us out of Iraq and Afghanistan but that's just pie in the sky.
On a more achievable level and more of a New Years resolution, ANY affordable weapon would be fine!

I would like to see that happen as well for my fellow soldiers, airmen, sailors and Marines there but personally as I have been there (Iraq) we need to finish the job correctly before we leave those countries. This WAR is going to be long and tedious as we are dealing with religious revolutionaries that do not care one bit how they win. They even kill thier own if they do not believe as they believe .... bomb, behead, torture, etc., etc. They attacked US on September 11 and they will pay for that.

The question wasn't about Iraq but about milsurps for Christmas.
Well... back to the subject.... SOG had the 91/30 snipers on sale for an addtional $20 off today. One of them will be on the UPS Santa truck pretty shortly with my name on it.

I want mil-surp...........................ammo, lots of ammo. I've already read my fill of "no ammo in the future exports posts".
Ammo, lots of ammo. Some of this and some of that.
I lashed on to my dealer and his getting some of the last of the Yugo 8mm. Now its the Bulgarian 54R that Century has. I bought Swiss at our last show here and had offers as I was walking out with it. Then it will be reloading supplies. I have decided to put firearm buying on the back burner. Well, unless it's a "cheap " Finn Mosin...

Actually, instead of more milsurps, I want more chance to use what few I have. There is a very good, (state owned, local club operated) range only about 25 miles from me. Open every day and has range masters always there. This time of year the high temps are only in the 60s & 70s, so this is the time to go. Just need more time, oh well.
