I have a craving for a 5" model 625 in 45acp, after having the pleasure of shooting one a few weeks ago.....Well, that, and a bunch of moon clips

Phil, I had one once.
I found the half/full moon clips a real pain, great for speed loading but a chew on to get the cases in and out.
The answer was simple, I bought a couple of hundred .45 Auto Rim cases.
That revolver kept my Gold Cup companion for quiete a while

The 625 I fired belonged to my uncle, and he used a somewhat crude but effective instrument to deal with the clips. It was a piece of PVC pipe cut to fit around the cases, with an extractor lip at the base, which made removing the cases a breeze.
Not that my typing it out makes any sense...I'm sure there is some kind of tutorial on the "information superhighway".

Yes there were home made and commercial variations of these case remover tools when I was at it, but it was getting all to complcated for me in the sense of kit on the bench.
With the Auto Rim cases it all became simple again.
