Not long ago I picked up an Uberti 1866 Winchester "Yellowboy" that I intend to shoot in some buffalo shilouette matches. I just finished adding a Marbles tang sight and a Lyman target front sight. Here are some before and after pictures.

This transformation cost be right at $100. Was it worth it? Well the jury is still out on that. All that I have been able to lay my hands on as been ammo loaded for Cowboy Action Shooting at it is anemic at best. I am getting some moulds to cast my own bullets and develop some more powerful loads. Hopefully, then the investment will have been worth it.
