				Bloody hell Chris where do you find them??? You have some seriously nice kit! Whats the story on the top handguard?

				The rifle started his life around 1930 as a m/28 and in teh first half of 1934 the guardsmen chose to have it updated to m/28-30 specs on his own expense.
The barrel was good, so SAKO did only install the new features like sights, trigger and aluminium sleeve plus a new handguard.
It is only the second handguard with the =S= stamp I have seen so far, first one is on my post war m/28-30(nomaker nodate that is).
Came to me from an auction, not cheap, but woth every cent!!!!!!!

				That is one of the m/28s converted to a 28/30. A rare bird worth a lot indeed.
