refurbish rolling block

I just got two rollers in a trade both are 50 70 that were nickle plated and had the bbls cut to 27 inches I guess for a parade rifle or such ( came out of a legion basement also had the stocks painted white ,they are in good shape mechanically but the finish is peeling and is rusted underneath, what do you think would be the best way to go with these old beauties
