picked this little beauty up yesterday. I traded a Mak for it and got a K11 sporter I was looking at too. all #'s match, including stock. Pristine bore, all bright and shiney! Crest has been ground and reblued. Stock has several cartouches present. Alas, I thought it was an original carbine, but the barrel is 21" and if you look closely you can see the recrown. Hope it shoots as good as it looks. the shop i frequent also has another one, a long rifle with a cut down stock. all the metal is intact. just needs stock and handguard.

I put it on L-A-W. Couldn't resist.

Wouldn't you love to get your hands on the guy who buggered up an all matching rifle like that. :( At least he did a decent job. Hope it shoots well.

For a chop-job it's pretty nice! You'll have to give us a range report. What is it chambered for?

Any idea if it went through a re-heat treatment?

Funny how these things go--I just looked at one in a shop today. It looked pretty nice. Is there any way to determine the date of manufacture based on the letter/number?

The caliber is 7.65. What is that?
