Milsurp After Hours

Last week a dealer that I know phoned me to tell me he had an Enfield and a Webley revolver for sale, both in .380. I got to his shop today and examined them. The Enfield was in better shape than the Webley, and it is now mine!!!! It is an Enfield No2 Mk1 .380 dated 1930. The bore is in excellent condition and overall its a nice revolver. It comes with an original web holster which has loops for holding rounds. The holster is also in excellent shape. I was in a rush so only had the chance to take this one pic with the camera on my mobile phone. It looks better in the flesh, pic doesnt do it justice. I am still tempted with the Webley .380, but I want a Webley Mk VI so may have to pass on it.

I checked a few dealers here, and found that only one of them stocked the .38 S&W ammunition. He didnt have a big stock of it, but had Winchester and Remington. Now for the bad bit, the Remington was priced at £25 per 50rds and the Winchester was £20 per 50rds. I will obviously be starting to reload .38 S&W

I remember paying similar for the last 50 rds of .455 from Fiocchi. I learnt to hand load!

just did a converison on that and 50 dollars a box I would really start reloading
