Milsurp After Hours

My father, brother, a friend, and I all attended a local gun auction last week.

This fellow had some 250+ guns up for auction as he was "getting married" ...poor guy.

Anyway, everything from VZ-52's, Hakims, FN-49's, Krags, Mausers, 03's, Garands, Enfields, Lugers, Radoms, etc, oh, and did I mention he had 20+ carbines for sale???

Anyway, I picked up a Winchester M1917, as well as a Winchester P-14 (might as well reunite the cousins, eh?).

Blued finish, all Winchester parts except for a Remington bolt stop.

It'll join the Eddystone. I missed out on the Remington 1917 the guy had...that would have completed the triumverate and left me free to pursue an ERA and RE P-14...

Oh well, the chase continues...

tough choice between girls & guns...

I think there's prolly more girls to choose from than nice, affordable milsurps these days...I know what I'd choose!

i agree , they all look .......whoa , sorry , its just that each rifle is an individal all its own , and we need to treasure them for the next generation ,

not to be said for the girls - much as i love them , they do age just like us so we must treasure them for what the are and who they are , may the be pro-gun please
