i have a nice looking remington M1903A3 , a previous owner tried to put together an A4 version with near authentic parts and modifications ,
it had issues that precluded shooting it , i thought about it a long time and decided i liked it , had sentimental attachement to it as it was , and desired to plink with it ,
i set up a conversion , enlisted the help of roy boone - a very talented machineist and extrordinary collector in japanese emphasis , sent him the parts and he turned my insert , i finaly got it back together , shot it and am happy with the results ,
this is a brief photo essay of the project :

took it to the range , shot it at 75yds , and im satisfied with the results considering my ineptitudes and the vintage scope ,

all-in-all a very fun project , id recomend to anyone who is bored and has a rifle that should be sold as parts
