Ol' Tiger found new home - SkY M39

Post by awo425 » Wed Jul 25, 2007 2:32 pm

Found this old warrior sitting lonely in a gundealers rack, barrel showed red rust on the muzzle.

But given the looks of it, mostly unmessed, not refurbed etc. I had to take it with me.

Gave the bore the Hammerite threadment to kill all rust, barrel is rough in the front part, lands rounded, like one would expect on an old war horse.

Will see if the rifle can group at my next range visit. Have better ones for a shooter, but I HAVE to know, how it shoots.

Put on the SkY marked web sling, I had here quite some time, looks real good.

Finaly another hole in the collection is filled and I can sleep better now.

The sling is in good shape too.

My only M39 with a sling has one that looks pretty worn out. I'll attach a photo just to show how worn out looking it is.

It's true Chris, it has been raining here too the entire weekend, so I went to the indoor 25 meter range today to shoot the WZ48.

In just a few months the indoor 100 meter range of our gunclub will be ready.

No more bad weather while shooting. :D :D :D

Get well soon Chris, fantastic weather is on the way.

Looking forward to that range report.

met vriendelijke groet,

Martin
